Are you addicted to self-judgment?

At the tail end of 2020, I found myself trying to help many of my clients through self-judgment.  Mostly because this said judgment broke a critical guiding principle of the Akashic Records modality and created a lot of resistance, which prevents the forward movement on the spiritual journey that we all dream about!

And just like in my last post, the resistance in letting go of self-judgment is greeted with the “how” questions.

How do we learn to accept our most negative aspects?

As always, the answer is very clear, and that is with trust and faith that you can evolve beyond it.

We can simply use journaling as our spiritual practice here and ask ourselves the following when directed at our current circumstances:

  1. Can you be better than your worst reaction?

  2. Can you examine the circumstances and gain understanding?

  3. Can you allow yourself the opportunity to try again?  If so, what can you do differently?

Some readers may see the questions mentioned above and instinctively want to skip over them or write half-truths in response; however, you must answer them.  The questions provide a point to shift and a way to open ourselves up to more profound truths.  Following through with the answer helps you to vibrate higher than your actions.  You must allow the answers to reveal a final resolution for you. For many, this is the hard part.

We often rely heavily on our patterns of overthinking. We languish in anxiety and insecurity that does not allow room for finality in our circumstances.   We must learn to accept finality in ourselves, our circumstances, and others.  In doing so, we can achieve a state of lightness, which allows us to further grow and expand.

To further expound on the idea of unlearning in 2021, I asked spirit a critical question:

What do you need to unlearn in order to progress spiritually?

  1. Dependency on the ego

  2. Emotional immaturity

  3. Superficiality

  4. Questioning

  5. Avoidance

  6. Judgment

These six things. These six aspects are not complicated but must be overcome and attended to in order to be in a place to receive-- to accept. Acceptance of the current circumstances is the only way forward. The emotional block is the biggest obstacle to purity of the spirit. There must be a degree of purity to realize other dimensions tangibly, whether through meditation, channeling or in vision.

The dependency on the ego to rationalize represents the fear of the unseen. In fear, you cannot advance on your journey, and you cannot benefit from the guidance because you have not learned to accept. In rejection, we manifest more of our same behaviors and do not create an environment for ascension or even understanding.  Understanding yourself and your circumstances is merely the first hurdle in the spiritual journey. Step one is the ability to connect with your highest self, and in the absence of that connection, no other higher-level beings will be able to utilize you, your soul, as an access point of, or for, the light.  To achieve purity, release is required, a shedding of the exact things that do not serve the soul.

We must understand that we have no role in the judgment.   We can learn to evolve past the need for self-judgment when we connect with the power of acceptance.   Self-judgment is a learned behavior imposed on us by our culture and our society.  When we find fault within ourselves, we believe the only way we can be absolved is to judge and ultimately punish ourselves.  However, all we must do is accept and learn to direct our energy in ways that serve us.  In service to our highest purpose, we reserve the ultimate judgment for the source from which we are created.

Judge not, fear not, and resist not are all we must learn and practice to be open to guidance, acceptance, ease, and peace.
